About us

The One Water Vision initiative is based on an international coalition of scientific institutions, intergovernmental organizations and space agencies. It is structured around three main groups:

• INRAE (Institut National de Recherche pour l'Agriculture, l'Alimentation et l'Environnement): as the secretariat of the International Research Consortium (IRC), INRAE is responsible for the scientific and operational coordination of the initiative.
• INBO (International Network of Basin Organizations) and WMO (World Meteorological Organization): these two intergovernmental organizations play a central role as strategic partners, facilitating cooperation between countries and local players.
• The International Research Consortium (IRC): comprising over 20 international scientific institutions, including space agencies, national research institutes and universities, the IRC is the scientific heart of the initiative.

This collaborative structure enables the development of innovative tools to monitor and manage water resources, strengthen drought and flood warning systems, and provide reliable data to local decision-makers and users.
