One Water Vision coordinates Topic 5A at the 11th World Water Forum

The One Water Vision (OWV) Initiative is excited to announce its coordination of Topic 5A: Hydroinformatics and AI Tools for Water Management at the 11th World Water Forum, taking place from March 22–28, 2027, under the overarching theme “Action for a Better Future.”
This Topic will focus on leveraging AI, satellite data, and digital tools to improve water management, support decision-making, and strengthen governance. In line with the OWV vision, we aim to ensure FAIR and shareable data, connect satellite missions and space agencies with in-situ observations, and collaborate with a wide diversity of stakeholders, from scientists and basin authorities to local communities and end-users.

As Topic Coordinators, we will guide discussions, facilitate exchanges, and translate knowledge into actionable solutions that contribute to sustainable, resilient, and equitable water systems. This multi-actor approach will allow us to co-develop tools, models, and services that truly respond to users’ needs and foster climate adaptation.

We look forward to exchanging ideas, driving innovation, and shaping real impact at WWF2027, while highlighting the power of collaboration between science, technology, and society.
